Why build a portal just because wanted to access your roof? There is always other solution available. Lets see what this house did: A proper well planned roof access used Bronte Attic aluminium roof hatch combined access with attic ladder. 👍

Bronte Attic's ladder are fully assembled imported. The ladders came with wood box and the white hatch cover.  The full set weight is ranged from 40kg to 80 kg. Normally the ceiling all dont have a support frame for us to install the ladder. Therefore we will need to add the metal frame to hold it as pictures showed below. Besides, we can also create some extention steps above the ladder to help smooth step up to the attic landing floor. The ceiling can be covered and flush with our white lining provided.
